We want your wedding day to be a special and sacred day, full of celebration and new beginnings.

Funerals
​
When someone passes, their loved ones – family and friends, neighbors and church members – need space to grieve, to remember the deceased, and to give thanks to God for their loved one’s life. A church funeral service is a spiritual part of the grieving process that may also include a visitation at a funeral home or a family’s home; a reception where family and friends gather to tell stories through laughter and remembrance; a public act of memorial, such as planting a tree or donating a park bench in memory of the departed; and any one of many other possible acts of grieving and remembering our loved ones after they have passed into the gates of heaven.

Sunday School

Middleport United Methodist Church runs Sunday School each year from the third Sunday in September through the first Sunday in May. Sunday School is open to children age two through senior high. Pre K through eighth grade meet at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning. Senior High grades 9-12 meet following the 10:00 AM church service. Sunday School is the first building block in your child’s relationship with God. Younger children hear bible stories, learn prayers, learn how to be like Jesus, and get introduced to the bible. Junior high builds on what was learned at the lower level. We hope to see your children!
